The Nepal Academy (Nepal Pragya Pratisthan) was founded by then His Late Majesty King Mahendra on June 22, 1957 as Nepal Sahitya Kala Academy. This was later renamed Nepal Rajkiya Pragyã Pratisthan and now it is named as Nepal Pragyã Pratisthan. Now this prestigious national academic institution is committed itself to enhance the language, literature, culture, philosophy and social science of Nepal.
